Philadelphia’s Playloop Records took one mighty leap across the big pond to discover its first International future star – Germany’s Microstar. Already making waves with DJs including King Britt, Ben Watt and Fred Everything, Microstar now plans on bringing the next wave of hits into your own home. Through a relationship with Playloop Records, Microstar has a 2007 releases schedule jammed solid. Look no further for the future sound of Germany.  

A product of the 1970’s first generation computer games, grew up on the sounds and beeps of legendary titles like “Phoenix,” “Defender” and “River Raid.” The sounds emanating from the Commodore 64 PC sparked Microstar’s curiosity in modern music and ultimately the synth based acts of the time; namely Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode.  

At age 18, Microstar attended his first techno and house music parties in Hamburg, Berlin and other German cities. The experiences proved to be life changing as it inspired a young Microstar to learn how to DJ and then produce his own records. Today, Microstar DJs at the finest clubs in the world and with some of the biggest names in the business.
